The downloaded template is assigned to "Accessories" by design.

If you have a PUC, then you should control it via the PUC

OK, thank you for the answers. The PS3 template from the config tools works, so I will use this one. I thought, that the file from the download section would be better...

If i were you, i would just use the B&O "Sony Playstation 3" PUC option, if it's not found in you PUC list, your dealer can add it to you Beosystem3, the PUC for PS3 is made especially for the Nyko remote.

Hi,

for the upper one you need to upload the PUC as well. You can use every B&O remote (e.g. Beolink 1000). Because the Beosystem assigns the B&O signal to the right remote signal for the Playstation.

When you use the accessory (Zubehör) the Playstation remote signals are sended directly from the Beo5. And the template is only valid in this case. You can only use this as accessory.

I cannot add the PS3 with a Nyko BLU-Wave Dongle template from the Beoworld download section to the BeoSystem 3 EU. If I want to drag it at the right place, it jumps to the Accessories field. In this field I have no possibility to change the source.
The Sony Playstation 3 template delivered with the config tool can be placed without problems.
What am I doing wrong? SW: 1.40a

BTW: what is the difference between the two templates from the download centre "Sony Playstation with a Nyko BLU-Wave Dongle" (on place 6 and place 16)??
