For what it's worth, my Beomaster 6500 certainly doesn't do anything with V.AUX or PC from Beo4, either.

Oke, than I have found the reason why it is not working with the Beomaster 7000 either.

The workarround, I described earlier, should than also work with your Beomaster 6500.

Nice; problem solved, case closed

It seems that the problem is the Beosystem 7000. The devicelist of the Beolink 7000 doesn't have sources like V.AUX or PC. So I think the Beomaster 7000 doesn't recognize commands like V.AUX or PC. The system does not know what to do with it.

The workarround I use now is first to give the command AV TV and after that AV V.AUX. Then the music files from Apple TV are played on the audio system.

An indication that the Beomaster 7000 doesn't know what V.AUX is, is that the Beolink 7000 shows on the (red) display source TV when AV V.AUX has been choosen.

Am I on the right track?

The function I use on the BEO4 is A-V.AUX to have sound on the BEOsystem 7000 (Apple TV is connected as V.AUX on BV7).

The button I have created on the Beo5 doesn't work.

IR command I used is 0:000:RADIO:AUX_V

This is V.AUX in radio mode (just like the buttons for AV TV) but this one doesn't do the job.

Any suggestions?

Piet

I am using the same command for a DVD player connected to V.AUX and it works as announced.

But A.V.AUX is TV command isn´t??

So if the command shall be: 0:000:TV:AUX_V

Test this
