Your are not the only one with this experience, Sandrikor.

But you have the software and can do it by yourself. It will take some time the first programming, but after that you have the experience.

If you have question about the programming, put them on the forum.

Well Went today to the Service Teparment here in Greece to get the remote shorted out , she refused to give me the file for the beo5 so i wouldnt start from scratch and even refused to accept icons i downloaded myshelf so we could optimise the beo5....what can i say quite dissapointed for the first time,,,,Even told them that i own the programm myshelf but still they their policy are to make the first installation with the stadar icons they have and from that time they have no responsibility what so ever for further programming ....Well i guess its up to me then to start the installation from scratch etc.....

Hello Sandrikor,

for your information: it is not possible to save the current configuration of the Beo5 to harddisk. You have to get your configuration file from your dealer if you don't want to begin from scratch.

You can store various set ups - however one normally does so using the serial number. Has your Beo5 got the latest firmware - it should be 1.34a.

Hello,

It's a real shame, but this software is intended to dealer and only available through B&O's intranet. Furthermore, firmware updates which come with updates are also done through this intranet.

All you can do is to ask your dealer to "give" you the software, knowing that for each new version, you'll have to take your beo5 to your dealer to have the firmware updated if you wish to take advantage of new features.

Hello Everyone i bought the Beo5 Remote and gave it to the dealer to fix the software part etc , brought it home today to see that Some Of The Channels I told them to put in are missing etc etc. So Was Wondering If Someone Could Sent me The Beo 5 Programm So i Can Short It Out Myshelf so i dont have to go to the Service Part Everynow and Then .
