What brand and model is your DVD?

Once you have the ccf file, you have to take the HEX codes, convert them with the software of Lintronic and create one txt file for every command. When you have all commands created, you can make an xml file with a software created by Weebyx and Keith Sanuders, from the forum. This xml file is what you need to control your device with the Beo5.

Re: Bugs in SW 1.32a ?!

where do i get the codes from? i tried the standert generic file, but thats not individual and so it doesn´t work.

Re: Bugs in SW 1.32a ?!

If you want control your sat receiver directly from your Beo5, without IR transmitter, you have to create an xml file with the codes of your sat receiver. cases

but here is the difference with the majority of beo5 users: I'm still

Thanks to Quim as well for the info.

In addition it solves a bug I had with software 1.30a (I did not see any reference about it).

The bug is related to the following: if you configure the Beo5 with a third party accessory like Lutron Rania IR, after using one of the Lutron codes, the Beo5 IR Power range gets reduced, so you need to point directly to the equipment IR receiver. This continues to happen until you power off and on the Beo5, then works properly until you press any of the Lutron commands again. This does not only happen with lutron codes, I think it happens when you use a non B&O IR code.

Re: Bugs in SW 1.32a ?!

Keith Saunders:

Weebyx has got his Beo5 updated correctly including the configuration file.

Yes, and thanks to Keith for helping with info :)

/Weebyx
