Only the 32 bit versions of Windows Vista and XP are supported.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;New features&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ol&gt;&lt;li&gt;Windows Vista compatible&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Lutron and Busch-Jaeger remotes moved into&amp;nbsp;3rd party accessories&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;239 new Peripheral Unit Control (PUC/STB) products added&amp;nbsp; &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Logo template&amp;nbsp;updates making previous templates useless&amp;nbsp; &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Pre-defined Logo templates for selected markets which are not that helpful &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Updated Help function &lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ol&gt;&lt;p&gt;Problems resolved&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ol&gt;&lt;li&gt;Cannot name a DVD2 as &amp;quot;DVD&amp;quot; when a DTV module is&amp;nbsp;selected&amp;nbsp; &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;Command /CD2/ is missing &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;The chosen Logo is not shown &lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ol&gt;&lt;p&gt;New firmware 1.30a&lt;br /&gt;The Beo5 Configuration Tool version 1.30 comes with Beo5 firmware version 1.30a.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;It is not recommended to use configurations made with the Configuration Tool version 1.00, 1.02 and 1.10 on Beo5 remote controls which have not been updated to firmware 1.30a, as the firmware introduces changes to the way logos are handled in the firmware.&lt;br /&gt;Binary files made on earlier versions will not run on firmware 1.30a and will result in &amp;quot;No valid configuration&amp;quot; on the Beo5.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The Tool automatically updates the Beo5 firmware when you download, so this message only appears, if the user prevents the firmware from being updated.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The major negative is that all the logo templates produce by dealers for the previous version will not work with this version unless certain variables in the XML file are manually modified as below:-&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;If you try and use an existing template then it will hang the tool because it cannot find the variable&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;The following variables have been changed&lt;/p&gt;&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;font color="#0000ff"&gt;nPreferedRow=&lt;/font&gt; is now nRowFinal= &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;font color="#0000ff"&gt;nPreferedColumn=&lt;/font&gt; is now nColumnFinal= &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;font color="#0000ff"&gt;nPage=&lt;/font&gt; has been introduced to define the page for the logo &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;font color="#0000ff"&gt;nPriority=&lt;/font&gt; is no longer used &lt;/li&gt;&lt;li&gt;&lt;font color="#0000ff"&gt;&amp;lt;root stVersion=&amp;quot;1.0&amp;quot;&amp;gt;&lt;/font&gt; root version number has been introduced&lt;/li&gt;&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p&gt;I strongly suggest that you DO NOT un-install the previous version and instead run both versions in different directories.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;In the coming days I will be updating the Beo5 Resource and Information web page with updated logo files which will work with teh new version.
