Now I understand, in fact your setup is not very usual.
When you're inside the "AV" section commands, try to change manually the 2 volume wheel IR code keys
from "0:000:TV:ANALOG_UP_1" (Wheel right side) and "0:000:TV:ANALOG_DW_1" (Wheel left side)
to "0:000:RADIO:ANALOG_UP_1" and "0:000:RADIO:ANALOG_DW_1"

Maybe it will work for you.

Your suggestion works. Just tried it. It is a nice work arround. Thanks for your advice.

On the other hand it should work the way it meant to be. Is there a way to report this to B&O? .................... I know, the dealer......but I am not sure it will reach B&O.

It happens to me with the DVD2 command. I can't control the volumen if the Beo5 is not in Scene menu.

to bad, your suggestion is not working. On the scene page there is no Speaker option. Probable reason could be that I don't have B&O speakers. I did not select any speaker by Choose Products.

Hello Santiago,

well my configuration is a little different. I try to explain.

In the living room there is a Beovision Avant with no speakers connected.
Also in the same room there is a Beomaster 7000 with speakers connected. No B&O speakers here (philips is the brand).
Beosystem 7000 and Avant are connected by a converter T1611 (8 pins DIN on Beomaster 7000 and masterlink on the Avant).

So both systems are master. For instance: when I played a DVD (DVD1) and I want the sound also on the Beomaster 7000, the remote command is AV DVD. The audio set is switching on and DVD sound is also playing on the Beomaster 7000.

After the software upgrade of the BEO5 this is not working correctly anymore. It was working with firmware 1.02 and not with 1.23 and 1.30.

With the command AV DVD the Beomaster 7000 is switching on but I cannot control the volume.

It is still working fine with BEO4 and Beolink 7000.

For your information: the 2 systems are connect the way I descriped because I don't want to lose the 2 way communication with my Beolink 7000.

Sorry but I've not understood your problem well, could you explain it more extensively?

I think that "AV" function is exclusively for controlling the audio of beovisions, not those of beosounds.

When a Beovision is masterlinked to a Beosound in the same room, the volume function of the whole set is usually controlled only by the beovision and the volume of the beosound is locked.

So for me, there is no bug there

It may solve your problem, the new version was released to dealers 2 days ago so most of them have not had a chance to test all the functions.
One major issue is that all the previous created logo templates will no longer work because several variables have been changed. I am currently changing the downloadable logo templates to reflect the new version, but will leave the old ones as well.
This version also updates the firmware in the Beo5 to version 1.30a and as the previous firmware update appears to have created your problem, the new one may solve it.

I have installed the new version of the BEO5 software and upgrade the firmware of the BEO5. Still the AV function is not working correctly. Maby this problem is not know at B&O.

I have also made a new configuration (a simple one to test the AV function). The result was the same. I it not possible to change the volume of the choosen AV-device.

Will you be willing to verify my findings?

Does a beo5 upgraded to firmware 1.30a can be downgrade back to 1.20a firmware if something fails?
