Link has an effect in Option 5 or 6...

Link allow you to choose a source of the main room when there is the same source in the link room.

If you have a DVD in the link room and in the main room, pressing DVD would activate the local DVD player, Link-DVD would activate the DVD player in the main room.

Link+TV or Link+DTV would use the Tuner of the Main Room as well.

re the other response about the link function. Link has no effect when a product is in opt 5, only in opt 4

Audio and video in option 6 in the same room won`t work, because both systems react to both commands. So, if you press "1" you will get "11"....if you press "up" you will get up twice...

There is a tab in Beo5 config prgm thats called Link. And you must set this to 1

Your dealer will do this for you

I have a BV7 in the bedroom, and a BeoLink passive in the en-suite. These are both set to option 5, and so respond to their own commands. If I want to listen to CD through the BV7 I press AV CD on the Beo 4.

I want to use the Beo5 in the bedroom because it's so much easier than sky, but can't get it to operate the devices in option 5 correctly.

I have a zone called bedroom containg just the TV which is in option 5, and another zone, bedroom 1, for the BLpassive also in option 5. It doesn't work, and I can't set the buttons manually as I can't find the AV option in the IR list.

Any ideas?
