XML for SKY HD Box

Hi guys,

Has anybody created an XML for direct control of Amstrad Sky HD boxes, have a link room with a non B&O TV where I would like to directly control the Sky box

hi, Nowadays I'm really into the programming my beo5.

But the problem came out.

I can't turn on the Tvix HD CAFE by my 6500 XML FILE or PUC controll installed by my dealer.

the PUC that I have can only turn off and do other normal controls .. :(

I heard somewhere that Tvix 6600 or S1 's remote signal is similar to my HD CAFE's

Is there any way I can get the 6600 or S1 's XML file on the web?

hi. I decided to make my beo5 change. But I couldn't find the lastest version of the ct tool. (5.12)

Unfortunately, In my country Dealers don't give that program...

How could I get that program from the web?

I struggled to find that in this forum, but failed....

Beo 6 with WIFI ... what can I do with it?

Hallo @ all,

After a bit of trouble I got it updated to 5.12 and all the updates on Beo 6. Now I have WIFI but can I use it e.g. with ATV and Itunes or just for Encore?

Hi everybody,

I was wondering if someone could help me:

I have the Configuration Tool 4.11, and in my Audio sources, I can find BeoSound 5 AudioMaster and BeoSound 5. There is no BeoSound 5 Encore, however.

Can the BeoSound 5 Encore be configured as BeoSound 5, or should I have the configutation files for Encore? If Encore is needed in the Configation Tool's audio sources, would it be possible for someone of you to zip the BeoSound 5 Encore configuration folder and send it to me?

Hi quick question, when you hold down the standby and press the centre button you are lead into setup menu, if you go into setting and click restore, then yes this just bounces back?

I thought this would wipe the dealers configuration and load all defaults?

Beosound 8 Issues with Beo5

I have configured my Beo5 to work with my Beosound 8 using the official software from Version 4.11

Has anyone had issues controlling a Beosound 8 with this? Mine doesn't work at all - No Play/Pause, Previous or Next and the wheel will not control the volume.

Where is the SHIFT command into config tools?

REG 2 command of Beo4 for Beo5/6 remote

Hi Folks,

I'm looking for an XML for the REG 2 command of my special Beo4 remote to program it in the Beo5/6 remotes.

Now you may wonder what the REG 2 command does. Well, we use it to make the DVD (not the blu-ray) players of BeoVision 7 TVs region free for customers who ask for.

Tried to capture the command with the Lintronic TT455-RT-238 signal converter, but it didn't work, which is kind of surprising and somewhat disappointing for a product which is supposed to be universal and which gets the commands of any remote... but the B&O ones.

Any clues to get the REG 2 command into the Beo5/6?

Beo 6 Powermanagement

The Beo6 sometimes dosent turn off the screen, and somtimes it comes on by itself, and will not turn off again ( normaly after 30 Sec )

this will for sure drain the battery life..

Does anybody have this problem. It came after the last firmware update.

configuration file to big

I am updating my Beo5 with config tool 4.11

I placed some new logo's in tv-list. When I finalize everything goes good until writing configuration file (serializing is o.k.). Then I get message "configuration file to big".

When I see in the folder on my pc I can only find an serialize iso file which is about 19 mb big.

I know that the serialize.bin file has a limit of 2 MB. Is serialize.bin same as serialize.iso??

How is it possible that the file is so big???? Only added some logo's.

Please help

I now own the device : + LeCube

It seems that the device is build by PACE (i have model G5 SAM1)

Can someone please provide me with XML file to control it with BEO 5.

BEO6 and Cisco problems

Hi!

I have a customer who has a problem with joining the remote to their Wifi network. I looks like the remote doesn´t support Enterprise class Cisco products. Products used is Cisco ASA5505 (firewall,router,dhcp server) and 5 X Cisco 1142 (AIR-LAP1142N-E-K9) Accesspoints. I can see the network SSID in remote control interface but it just keeps on connecting but times out. I have tried other low end product and it works ok.

I have been in contact with BO support in Denmark but without any solution provided and they confirm that their remote beo6 isn´t compatible with several Cisco Enterprise Class products. They think it is the way beo6 makes dhcp discovery. At firewall i can see log of handled request and discover but nothing shows when beo6 tries to connect.

Does anyone heard of this and have any suggestion for a solution? Is there any other remotes that can handle 2 way communication so that the user can atleast see songs and playlist (albumcover is not so important). Unit is a Beomaster 5.

I installed the new firmware on my Beo6. But after the Beo ConfigTool 5.12 installed the firmware, it always displays on my Beo6: "no valid configuration". I tried everything but I cannot solve the problem. The ConfigTool also doesn't recognize my Beo6. :-(

I know I read the answer to this somewhere but can not find it again. What do the covers signify when the Beo 6 shows three. The left is what is playing, and the guide says the one to the right is inspiration. What about the third?
