(LX6000 tv).

I am not sure if it should be possible or not, but it seems my Beomaster 5500 and Beocenter 8000 will not respond to the BL7000. Is that a normal issue? In other words, should I upgrade to a BM7000? And if I upgrade, do all BM's 7000 have RDS?

Thanks again!

^NOTE TO MYSELF^: RTFM... OK, I found the trick... setup the BL to be able to connect to the BM and BV's...

Re: Beolink 7000 backlight

Ups, sorry.

The right name is Ridax :)

Re: Beolink 7000 backlight

Oh, I don't have any parts for the Beolink 7000.

I suppose that B&O would be the place to ask.

Martin

Re: Beolink 7000 backlight

Thanks!

Re: Beolink 7000 backlight

Then the backlight is defect, it's just a foil and can be replaced.

You should contact Dillen ;)

Re: Beolink 7000 backlight

Thanks for the answer. I replaced all the obvious ELCO capacitors, including the SMD ones near the receiving unit by tantal capacitors.

I also changed the batteries.

Everything seems to be OK except that the blue backlight of the display will not go on.

Any suggestions? Maybe whilst replacing capacitors bad solder? everything seems OK thought? Is there any common fault to this?

Thanks for your help!
