hehe :D

Well i opened it up more or less to be able to see some sort of jolted/defective switch, but to my vain i couldnt see anything bad with it :( so i more or less just checked the function with "fingerpower" and then just touched the switch (prob in order to do something) and since then it has worked with no hickups.... so far, just going for 3 weeks now tho but so far so good hehe :D.

Did just the same with mine and although I wouldn't say it is 100%, it is a lot better.

I had a similar problem on my CD 5500, it was too eager to close itself, timed it to around 20 sec or so before it closed itself, see this topic:

With help of servicemanual on site i opend the case, raised the "mainboard" and even folded down the front panel of the CD-player. The only switch i could visable see was the one in the middle of case (just under the thread that drags the cd-tray). I did nothing more then just touched it abit (of corse w/o any power on hehe) too see that it "looked ok". After that i closed it all and thought i hadnt mended anything but when i started using it again it now works flawlessly.

On servicemanulas first page the swtich is called 90S1 (section 1-1)

CD 7000 sometimes closes after opening

Sometimes when i want to load a cd, the slede opens as it should, but after a few soconds i closes again. I can se when it happens it looks like after opening it goes back 1 or 2mm before closing. is it a possible to make an adjustment or do I need some spareparts.
