No, i have a LCD.
The other LC2´s function normal.

You mention the IR upgrade kit,
a friend has a 50 inch plasma, and the infrared radiation directly
influences the ability to use Beo4 - Lintronic converter.

There is a plasma protected external infrared-eye available from Lintronic,
which apparently is a B&O infrared/eye 8087030.

What do you think ?

You have a plasma tv? The LC2 doesnt like plasmas... or it needs the IR upgrade kit.

Reset by unplugging the mains didn't make any difference,
sometimes the IR works, but most of the time it doesn't work.

I would have thought that the touch-sensitive part would be the first one to go / malfunction,
hadn't heard / read about the IR-part malfunctioning.

Hi Andy,

thanks for your reply.
What you mention is actually what i tried first.
There does seem to be an issue when i use that LC2 in a room with other LC2's.
I've not (yet) seen a pattern, but it seems as if it only accepts "1"

Sorry Ignace, I have no idea. I know what I would do first, though.
Try resetting it by calling it a different lamp number or better still, return it to factory settings.....

...Light, Goto,0,Store,4 Don't forget to hold your finger on the dome while you do this.

Hi all,

So far, the setup with multiple LC2's works great,
with Beolink 7000 i use the timer, and so on.

One LC2 however isn't working properly.
- On/off/dim functions normal by touching the dome.
The problem is when i try to control it by remote,
sometimes it works, but most of the time it doesn't respond to remote.

Disconnected all other LC2's from the mains and checked again, no change.

I've searched the forums for information,
and have read about problems with the touch-sensitive dome,
but not about the infrared not working.
I have not (yet) removed the dome, from what i remember,
the dome/touch-sensitive part is the most delicate part, which functions normal.

Does anyone have the Service Manual of the LC2,
or knows what the problem might be ?
