Tell us what happens, we like to help, but we also like to see results, good pics by the way, I like that BG 1200, I want one.

Re: Beogram 1202 & Beomaster 901 stereo/mono issue

Brilliant! Thank you very much!
You have 2 of my favorite vintage (1202, 1702) items together! Once we get this up and running, I want to hear some thoughts on those speakers. Please!

Ahem, anyway -

My initial advice would be to clean the speaker switches - a common problem on old gear. Deoxit or some other contact cleaner will work just fine.

Beogram 1202 & Beomaster 901 stereo/mono issue

Hi guys, I've got my folks old Beogram 1202 & Beomaster 901 up and running with a pair of Beovox 1702 speakers, now the only trouble I have is the with stereo /mono. I know both speakers are working clearly as I've tried them in left and right outputs in the beomaster but, with the mono button off on the beomaster sound only comes from the left hand speaker, whether the source be turntable or radio which leads me to believe its not the cartridge on the turntable.

On pressing the mono button on the beomaster both speakers come on but it seems they are both playing the same mono signal as stereo records are missing the usual sounds, backing vox, guitar solos etc

Any thoughts on what the issue could be?

Cheers in advance!
