Thanks for the input on this. I did not do an ebay search originally because I did not know how
crucial getting quality parts or a reliable manufacturer brand for
transistors was. I find the BC212B transistors on ebay but they are discontinued here in the states through many of the suppliers. Seems that sellers in Europe have them. And Jacque, you have helped me out in the past many times so if I were to order from Brico-Loisirs I promise to only get one of each that I need.

If anyone knows new equivalents for the BC 142, BC143 or BC144, I appreciate it.

John

Hi,

I was able to find NOS BC141-142-143 on eBay France when I did my 4002. The seller is called Brico-Loisirs.

He still has them in stock. But please leave a few for me, don't buy the whole stock!

Bc212 can be purchased new. If you are in the states then you need a 2n equivelent possibly. Try Google Search.

I agree with Blackrix above Littlediode is truly excellent for hard to find transistors and other electronic goodies :)

Re: Equivalent Transistor Recommendations

Try www.littlediode.com or Ebay!

Equivalent Transistor Recommendations

Hello All,

I am repairing/restoring a Beogram 4002 model 5513 and wonder if I could get someone to recommended replacements for transistors. The ones in question are the Texas Instrument BC212B, BC142, BC143 and BC144. I am not finding these available any longer through the parts supplier I have used in the past. Are there equivalents I should consider for these and what manufacturer should I be looking for for quality transistors?

Any help would be appreciated.
