Hi,

Thanks for your reply - I have an experienced friend doing the mod as we speak, I take it that by audio you mean the Beocentre unit I have for the speakers ?? - I have the 2500 and it is 240V already.

Hi Crawford,

Yes it's true. there has to be done only a slight modification to let the Beolabs 2500 work with 240 Volts.

You can find it here.

But keep in mind that the audio has also to be converted to 240V mains.

Hi Guys, I've just joined and am starting off with problems !!! - I have inherited a pair of Beolab 2500 speakers, but they are set for 120V and not for 240V supply - I've been doing a bit of reading on this forum and there are some posts which say that the transformer can deal with both inputs, but need only to be slightly modified ???

Is this true or not??

At the end of the day I would like to get them workin, whats the easiest way to do this? - sorry for starting off with a question but I'm trying to get them operating before Christmas for the little lady !!!!
