Beosound Ouverture: upgrade to 2.1 (not ?) possible due to missing IC2 on microcomputer board 3

Hello B&O friends,

I'm now lucky owner of two Beosound Ouverture systems 2631. The one has software revision 2.1 and other one 1.4.

I wanted to upgrade the 1.4 system to 2.1. Unfortunately, after opening the case I saw that the 1.4 doesn't have one of the eproms (stated IC2 on board 3 in service manual). But the board has the place and drilled holes for the IC2.

Now my question: it is possible to solder the second eeprom on the board and upgrade to 2.1? I don't use master link, so it is not important for me to upgrade the master link software on the board 13. Does someone can provide the schematic of the newer version of the board 3?

By the way the e(e)proms for 2.1 are:

XIRCOR X2816CP-20 (24 pin DIL, 16Kbit=2kB, eeprom: means electrically erasable)

M27512-20F1 (28 pin DIL, 512Kbit=64kB, eprom: means can be erased with UV light)
