I also find a photo of the insides or my RV7. Unfortunately the photo is not especially a good one, but clearly there is just one resistor, too.

I have a RV7, too. I managed to find a parts list and from the internet. I'll try to find it again and post a link.

EDIT: That wasn't too easy! Here is the parts list. I am not quite sure about the resistor in question, the PCB layout shows there should be two resistors, R1 (10 ohm, 0,33W) and R2 (0...220 ohm, 0,33W) connected in parallel, whereas in your photo there seems to be only one resistor (but visibly a place for the second).

The site itself also has some more B&O test-gear manuals. Could somebody ask if the site's keeper would allow those manuals being added to Beoworld's manuals section, too?

Can I suggest you unsolder the resister because the coloured bands may be visible underneath the resistor.

I need help, in my new voltmeter I found a burned resistor, if someone has the value (first band seems to be brown) could tell me the colors?

Maybe a service manual... :)
