&lt;p&gt;Just a quick word really.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;All of a sudden, after moving it to plug something in, I realized the left side dissipator was getting really very hot. A check underneath, where you can actually touch the fins showed it was burning!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Anyway, it turned out to be the no-load trimmer (what else?, as the great (?) George C. keeps saying), which was new but another &amp;quot;bare&amp;quot; model, was getting dusty. A good clean and re-set was all it needed. The voltage at the testing points was 150 mV instead of 22 mV!&lt;img src="http://forum.beoworld.org/emoticons/12.gif" alt="Angry" /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;WHY ON EARTH do these uncapped trimmers have not been eradicated from the planet? &lt;img src="http://forum.beoworld.org/emoticons/02.gif" alt="Big Smile" /&gt;&amp;nbsp;Nothing but trouble. And they are EVERYWHERE in B&amp;amp;O stuff!&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
