Can&amp;#39;t see why that would have anything to do with it though. I don&amp;#39;t think it&amp;#39;s normal, it used to be a very expensive CD player and should close smoothly!&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Just changed the belt (46mm, 1.4mm thickness) on my new toy, a BG CD X 2, and it&amp;#39;s working fabulously again!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Just one strange thing occurs: the lid closes, and then&amp;nbsp; jumps up again a couple of millimitres, then closes and all is fine, just as if it hiccups.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;What should I adjust to make it close at once?&lt;/p&gt;
