One has a built-in RIAA preamplifier (the other hasn&amp;#39;t).&lt;br /&gt;I suggest you try the other input.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I need some technical advise. &amp;nbsp;I just acquired a nice Beomaster 3000-2. &amp;nbsp;I have an existing Philips GA 212 turntable that I would like to use with this. &amp;nbsp;When testing this I barely have any levels (volume at 8 out of 10 before a peep). &amp;nbsp;Someone told me that these are designed for Bang and Olufsen turntables and that I would need a power amp for the turntable. &amp;nbsp;Not quite sure what is meant by that. &amp;nbsp;Should this not work? &amp;nbsp;Is there something so unique with these receivers that requires a &amp;quot;special&amp;quot; turntable?&lt;/p&gt;
