BTW I will get round to ordering the belt that I enquired about Martin but I am having to justify every penny spent atm so a cassette belt is doing the job for now, little too stretchy and doesn't settle down instantly but it's ok as a temporary solution!!!

Thanks..

Re: Beomaster 6000 buttons

Yes, you can swap the little bronze contact parts from some of the buttons
you never use (the high volume buttons 50 and 60 springs to mind), that
should be a very easy fix.
Inventing a new type of contacts just to solve this little issue
seems a bit out of proportion if you ask me. Finding a whole panel
in better condition from a donor could be an alternative but do
let us know how you fare.

I have tried cleaning but while they work you still do not get the tactile feedback that you do with the lesser buttons... I could swap the programming buttons over I guess there are about the same number but I wanted a 'new' solution really...

Re: Beomaster 6000 buttons

Won't a cleaning help ?
I like to take the panel apart, dismount the little bronze leaf spring contacts,
clean the board and the bronze parts from oxidation and dust and put it
back together.

It is a handfull that are worn to the point that the panel had been pushed in slightly next to the standby button. Can't find a supplier of anything suitable but they must be available! Looked at 0.5mm SMT versions although haven't worked out if these would be a little too high, again cannot find a supplier atm..

The only other option I can think of is rather drastic and would involve drilling a hole in the board and counter sinking (or similar) a tactile switch to the require height - a lot of work and I would feel obliged to do all 23 buttons
