&lt;p&gt;If you can swap the signal leads/plugs from the left/right amplifier modules, that will&lt;br /&gt;tell you if the problem lies within&amp;nbsp;one amplifier module or the preamp etc.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;My beomaster 8000 has started making crackling noises in the left channel. Swapped speakers, I am sure it is in the amplifier. Volume control has no effect so I guess the problem is in the power amp? It has all new capacitors except for the 4 big 10000uF cans in the power supply.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The crackling gets worse as the amp warms up.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Any suggestions what the problem might be?&lt;/p&gt;
