&lt;p&gt;I have finished repairing my Beocord 9000, having sourced a good used and silent motor!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;It works very well now...&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;One last thing: I noticed, on my two BC 9000, that the head body is not parallel to the cassette (as the erase head is).&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Is this normal? Do the pillars move or are they riveted to the mech? How can I adjust this head properly without the special tool? (ref. : page 5.1 of the SM) There is almost no leeway it seems, just a fraction of degree.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Any thoughts please? Thanks.&lt;/p&gt;
