They sell for nothing these days and to get this one working will be complicated as you will probably have to replace far more than you think. Components will not be difficult to source in the main but it will be a laborious process. &lt;/p&gt;

I&amp;#39;m quite ignorant of electronics but I couldn&amp;#39;t resist opening the case. That way, I could locate a burnt fuse and a few melted components.. (picture attached).&lt;br /&gt;So, a few questions that would help me:&lt;br /&gt;- generally, does lightning cause irreparable damages? excessive expenses?&lt;br /&gt;- are these components separately available for replacement or is a new entire card the only option?&lt;br /&gt;- must the repair job be done by the brand staff only (750 km...)?&lt;br /&gt;- are generally other areas of the set affected when struck?&lt;br /&gt;- is the age of the set (around 20 years) an issue when looking for the parts?&lt;br /&gt;- ...&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Thanks for any message that would help me make a decision as what the next step should be :)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Xavier&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
