This is an interesting question and seems to have been passed over by the great and the good on BeoWorld.

Just how do you return a passive to flat tone response?

???????

Does it reset to flat every time you power on and remember your settings when on standby?

I don't have a system to try so anybody????

Thanks for the response, but that was not the question.

I now perfectly well how to handle A.setup for tonal and balance controls. It is about how do I put the Beolink Passive back to flat sound controls.

For example, in how many steps (pushes on the remote) is treble set at maximum from flat sound ( 5 up for max. treble?).

By a Beosound you have a visual look (+1,+2,....) to put controls up, but not on the Passive. Only your ears can hear the difference.

Hi,

I have a question about the controls of a Beolink Passive.

With the Beo4 it is possible to adjust balance, bass, treble and loudness individually, but in how many steps upwards or onwards? I would like to get it again in flat response for the tonal controls.
