&lt;p&gt;Someone&amp;#39;s been in there before and replaced the idle current trimpot for the right channel with one of completely the wrong value, and hence that side is idling at 1 amp!&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The original 250 ohm linear pot is not stocked at my usual sources, the nearest available is 200 ohm - would this be a good substitute?&lt;/p&gt;
