One is a flat piece of copper &amp;amp; the other is a copper wire&amp;nbsp;bent into a &amp;quot;diamond&amp;quot; shaped hoop (for want of a better description). I&amp;#39;m sure it is possible to make one if you can find some sprung copper - if memory serves me correctly the wire type was the better method.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;1. Ground Right&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2, Right&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;3, Left&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;4, Ground Left&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The turntable&amp;nbsp;ground/earth wire goes to the cartridge body&amp;nbsp;via the slotted&amp;nbsp;hole at the bottom which accepts the spring clip.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I can see 5 strands of wire at the turntable end, 2 for each channel (the two earths are joined together), and the 5th wire is connected to chassis ground.&amp;nbsp; Does this connect anywhere at the cartridge end?&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description></item></channel></rss>
