It has that much history that the 4th repair was subsidised from B+O itself from Denmark. Still cost me 249 pounds. This is now the 5th repair but ive got a feeling that it will require yet another different part. I have never heard of cds bieng the wrong depth to sit in the machine properly, i understood them to be the same. I would rather not pay anymore money for the player, best thing about it is its never been moved for 4 years, until it goes for repair i might add.

Re: CD9000

Same here - a bit new for me also I have never worked on one of these. Is it still under warranty?

I'm very surprised that the B&O dealer you first sent it to couldn't repair it as it is a current model.

You need to let us know what model you have. Is it the Beocenter 9000 or the 6 disc Beosound 9000 ?

My instincts tell me that there is a problem with your system which either they cannot be bothered to repair or that they don't know how to.

I have had many problems with this cd player and has been to B+O for repair too many times to mention, most of the time it is the cd mech. I have now been told that i am using the wrong type of CDs in the machine and this is causing it to catch the cds as it moves left and right. The cds i am using are all origional and and new, i have never had problems with them before. Is this known to yourselves as a fault or am i bieng told something that is not true?

Kind regards
