&lt;p&gt;The sensor is working , with help of nick who handed over valuable information.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;the thing to keep in mind is , that the 8 volt supply to the external sensor has to be wired-in , CP1 has to be connected to 8 volt otherwise there is no supply going into the sensor.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;8 volt can be found on the display/front pcb pin 4 of connector P11 .&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Most likely it is all the same sensor 5500 , 6500 and 7000 .&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The connection on the bm has been dropped on the 6500 and 7000 , but was available as an upgrade-kit for these units.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;i have put in the cable conn 98 on the processor pcb , and measured the 4 lines and do think there is smoething wrong .&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;so now it is time to measure , ...................&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If someone has the schematics , that would be of great help.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;i got a master 7000 without the external ir-sensor connector .....................&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;so cable found ( thanks gregg ) and shipped , sensor found ( thanks to ebay ) , but it is not working.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;i found all bm7000 connections and schematics concerning this modification , but cannot find a schematic of the &amp;quot;sensor &amp;quot; itself.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Who can help me ??&lt;/p&gt;
