It usually holds well enough and is much easier to remove than epoxy, if need be. &lt;p&gt;If you look at the part closely, you will probably be able to see that there were originally three plastic prongs (posts) and the two outer ones have broken off.&amp;nbsp; The cord goes through in an &amp;quot;over, under, over&amp;quot; arrangement, locking it firmly in position.&amp;nbsp; I have had some units with broken prongs and an epoxy glue has managed to keep them going for a long time now.&lt;/p&gt;
