&lt;p&gt;yust to keep this updated ,&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;sloughter out all metal from the batteryholder ( eroded anyway ) , and wiggle 3 nimh batteries inside with a mini rc connector .&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;only for charging ( will hold several months ) you have to disassemble the remote&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; :-( &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;i am working on a solution for that , i have seen 3,5 mm jack connector on table top chargers for other remotes , maybe that is possible for this one tooooooo&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;the battery holder is still in the list of beo spares and a stock item .&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;&lt;img src="http://forum.beoworld.org/emoticons/01.gif" alt="Smile" /&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;finally getting to the point were all recently bought equipment gets repaired and put back to action.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;except the beogram cd 7000 which still causes me headaches........................&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I have a beolink 5000 with &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;1 - non-repairable pixel problem , which is not bothering me at all&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;2 - dodgy battery holder&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;3- missing battery cover &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Is there anyone who can help with those items &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Is the battery holder repairable ??&lt;/p&gt;
