&lt;p&gt;I noticed that the arm was sagging and wouldn&amp;#39;t tighten. I slipped the arm off and it came apart. It is a clean break.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Any thoughts on the torque issue?&lt;/p&gt;

But of course, that depends how much is broken and/or missing.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Actually I only need the graphite piece that slave arm slides into. It secures the slave arm to the carriage.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Mine has developed crack and the slave arm is very weak.&lt;/p&gt;
