I have a BG 8000 and the motor feels stronger than the BG 8002 that I am current repairing. I have no experience with a functioning 8002 so am unsure.</p> <p>2) I&#39;ve recapped the contol board with new electrolytics. I&#39;ve stabilized the microprocessor and it is now functioning properly. Even though it is able to regulate speed the slightest rub with my finger&nbsp;on the platter is spinning causes the motor to hum.
