yes, but the TT455-RT-238 is over 200 euros, and surely it does not hurt for a little bit more competition in this area I think :-)

As I got most of my B&O equipment on ebay, IR relay for BeoMedia is a must as I only have one IR Eye (for the moment).

The good bit about converting the STB-C codes is that you can pick any box on the list that looks right for your eyes when you press Menu on BEO4

The IR Relay is hardware: it uses a spare optocoupler on the board (I want to keep things galvanically isolated and it saves me the trouble of dealing with the voltage levels that define the picture format 4:3 or 16:9). If it's there, why not use it...

It is good as you could control almost every device, that is not in the STB-C, even from a link rook. It could even work for older TV that do not have an STB-C.

I suggest you do not over complicate it with these IR relays, as I do not see what it could be used for.

I decode long left/right/up/down stop/go and green/yellow/red/blue codes. BTW, the long go is the same as long stop

You're right, there's no need to relay IR to BeoPort. But I might need to relay to BeoMedia 1 (it's on the way from London now, so I don't know yet).

I decode the following commands:

Hello!

I started working on a compatible DVD Controller.

So far I can decode all the data on PIN8 of the AV and V.TAPE on my beosystem 2.

The beosystem 2 sends about 50 commands that have a prefix of the source (DVD, V.MEM (or V.TAPE), V.AUX).

The IR learning routine can handle most IR remotes (Philips RC5, Sony SIRCS, Nec, Samsung, Panasonic).

I am also planning to convert the IR commands from the STB-C board to map them to the IR commands learned by the DVD controller.

The controller powers off the device it controlls after a configurable delay after you no longer watch that source.

The unit will also relay IR signals from the original IR eye on the beosystem to BeoPort, BeoMedia and BeoLink Active/Passive units.

The unit is on a breadboard right now but I hope to build the PCB soon.
