This sounds like the Avant is new to you, and I don't recall reading "STORE" in this thread??? Are you storing the settings after you set them?

Hello Jesper thanks for replying, i tried the positioning as you said , it seems ive got a problen with the pcb, but thanks anyway.

At the setup-menu chose the 'stand', then chose 'turn tv to preferred position' - do it with the arrows on the Beo4, and press the 'go' button...

If that does not work, your tv is somehow defekt..

Hi:

I think you experienced the same problem I did but in fact it isn't actually a problem.

You need to put the screen into the desired off position then press 0 followed by OK/Go

You then need to move it to where you want it when on and press 1 followed by OK/Go.

I think, this is based on my memory of how to do it.

Hi can anyone help me with a problem that i have with my avant please, the problem is that no matter howmany attempts i have made to programme the motorized stand it will not turn to position on switch on, it responds to the remote to turn ok however when i switch off the stand rotates to a memorized position, to help out its a type 8133 so its no spring chicken but its still one very stylish television ! any help much apprechiated .
