&lt;p&gt;a few years ago a dealer did some kind of a &amp;quot;soft&amp;quot; reset to the vhs recorder in my AV9000 set.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I dont rememer exactly what he did, but it was like plug out the power cord, then plug it in again and press some buttons on the remote.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;maybe somebody knows what I mean because the recorder is acting strange right now and I want to try this out.&lt;/p&gt;
