SOUND-1-STORE worked for me. now I can switch the radio stations, cd tracks without any problem!

the other thing, the balance, I just found out that STORE does not store anything regarding the sound. on the old beocenter you have to press SET to store it.

so everything is sorted out now, I am happy again with my beocenter!

thank you.

When I started to read the thread I thought it must be an option issue - the set sounded as if it were set to Option 0 but I don't think that is the case. I wonder if you possibly have a stuck button on a remote which could be blocking the arrow key signals. I would take all the remotes out of the room and just use the Beolink 1000. Set it to option 1 - Sound 1 Store. Then have a try. Is there anything else attached to the Beocenter?

beocenter 2500 remote control problem

hi

my beocenter is acting a little strange.

everything works except of the remote control ability. when i press the buttons on the stereo, there is no problem, everything works.

when i want to change the radio station with the remote control, it does not do anything, also when i want to go to the next track on cd, it does not work. i can just turn it on with the remote, change the source and the volume and the bass/treble/etc. settings but not the radio station or CD track... tried with beolink 1000, beolink 5000, beo4 - always the same!

and the other thing that annoys me is that the speaker balance is set to "-7" so when i turn it on, I hear only one speaker. so every time I turn it on, I have to change the balance to "0"... tried with SOUND-STORE-STORE but did not work.

hope somebody can help!
