Just a little improvement, removed the little magnet and added a more powerful.

The work is not clean, it's a test.

The result is very good, the cover remains in open position, even if the alu plate is in vertical position or rotate to the front of the unit.

First I tried to create a strong and flexible dents as in the following image (sorry for the dimensions)

But this solution (even if works from about 2 years) is not easy to realize, not so beautiful to see (even if painted black) and stress the hinges; none cover hinges broken right now but the pressure on them is very hight.

So now there is the definitive solution 4 little pieces of...

Lets the game start!!!!

Hello

I definitely solved the lock of the cover in open positition, no hinges stress, no dents reinforcement, no bigger spring! As soon as is possible I'll upload photos.

Hi!

The white pieces are made from the original, I used a mix of plastic resins and then adapted to fix in the cover.

To create this parts you need a vacuum box and a little furnace (temperature controlled), so if you need I can make for you the hinges; you pay only the delivery tax and little price for the materials, I don't want ANYTHING for the work because it's not my job (it is an hobby for my mind and a game for my son in the avatar ).

As usual, if you find someone that make this as a job ask him first! :)

The difficult is to find the proper resins mix to have the needed strenght.

Actually I'm working on to solve the problem to let the cover opened whitout stressing the hinges; next on this topic!
