&lt;p&gt;Remove power from the Beogram.&lt;br /&gt;Can you operate the solenoid, piston and its metal arms&amp;nbsp;by hand ?&lt;br /&gt;When/if you do, does the arm lift/lower accordingly ?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;while repositioning the belt, I have mistakenly altered the position of the screw of the aluminium cylinder that only now I understand regulates the arm dropping time. as a result of that (or, so I believe) the arm does not drop at all. before my genius-like intervention, all was ok. can anyone help me?&lt;/p&gt;
