&lt;p&gt;first try exchanging left/right and another plug/cable on your amplifier, just to make sure that no other part is defect.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If the Penta is the problem... sorry, then you need help from a service shop. Then it&amp;#39;s probably a dead cap, bad solderings or a broken wire behind the flap.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Does the foot/amp become hot?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#39;m having difficulties with one of my series 1 Penta&amp;#39;s.&amp;nbsp; I&amp;#39;m getting an intermittant popping noise during playback.&amp;nbsp; I know, not a lot of info, but I figured I&amp;#39;d ask the B&amp;amp;O brain trust before I start taking it apart.&amp;nbsp; Thanks for any help you can provide.&lt;/p&gt;
