I'm not the most technically accomplished person in the world but I'd have a go if it was simple enough, the old cable is installed in the deck but the plug has been cut off at the end, whichever is the simplest method would suit me (and my ability) best..

Re: Replacing a din plug lead on a Beocord 3500 cassette deck.

Hi crissbiscit,

Yes, we do have a website and we are based in Leicestershire, UK. I am concsious that the forum rules prevent me from advertising, but if the moderators do not object to me answering your direct question, I will add a link to the Sounds Heavenly website below.

By the way, thanks for the recommendation Tony!

[Note to moderators: If you feel that this breaches the "no advertising" policy, please let me know and I will delete this post]

Sounds Heavenly website: www.soundsheavenly.co.uk

Changing the DIN plug to RCA outputs is not a problem and this can be either done by replacing the plug on the fitted cable, or by adding a convertor cable. I can either provide assistance or send you a diagram if you wish to do this yourself.

Best regards,

Steve.

Re: Replacing a din plug lead on a Beocord 3500 cassette deck.

Thanks Tony, where is Sounds Heavenly? Also does anyone know if it's possible to convert it to normal RCA leads for use with a non B&O amp? Any help or advice is greatly appreciated.
