&lt;p&gt;Capacitors&amp;nbsp;at the power supply board will probably be to blame. Replace the caps, you can&amp;#39;t really trust anything&lt;br /&gt;before that has been taken care of.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Measuring DC ohmic value on an antenna won&amp;#39;t&amp;nbsp;tell you&amp;nbsp;its impedance.&lt;/p&gt;

I take it going back to the TV aerial doesn&amp;#39;t help!!
