if you plan to connect an AV9000 (first 2 way version) to Beomaster 4500/6500/7000,

you need a 1610 converter, also known as an AV9000 Audio Aux Kit

Not sure about the AV9000, but if i remember correctly, there were 3(or 4) versions of the AV9000,

of which only the first version (26xx) was 2-way (Beolink 5000)

The other versions (43xx, 79xx were 1-way (Beo4)

Beolink 7000 works fine with Beomaster 4500, including timer programming / lights.

No real limitations, it is just that f.e. a Beosystem 6500 / 7000 has more functions

compared to Beosystem 4500, so naturally, when used with a 6500/7000,

more information / functions on Beolink 7000

I use both Beolink 5000 as well as Beolink 7000 with Beomaster 4500.

The Beolink 7000 shows additional information that normally isn't available,

f.e. the frequency whilst tuning the radio (the Beolink 5000 would only show : TUNE UP)

Two way communication: Beovision AV 9000 - Beo 4 >< Beolink 5/7000/Beolink 7000 and Beomaster 4500

I am about to buy a Beovision AV 9000. The main purpose is that I am fascinated by the two way communication. Thus the question is:

Do you get all the benefits out of the Beolink 5000 when using it with a Beovision AV 9000? At some stage in time the AV 9000 was modified to work with a Beo 4 - the million dollar question is which AV9000 type numbers are associated with Beolink5000 and which function with the Beo4? The same question goes for the Beolink 7000? Are there any AV 9000 versions that do not properly function with a Beolink 5/7000?

Beolink 7000 was made for Beomaster 7000 system, but should also function with the Beomaster 4500. However, are there limitations analogous to the examples mentioned above?

I know one can program LC2's with a Beomaster 7000, but can that also be done with a Beomaster 4500?

Are there any out there who has any concrete experiences with which products works best with the Beolink 5000 vis a vis the 7000?

I know the VX7000 witha typenumber 45xx works ideally with a Beolink 7000.

I have a Beosystem 2300 which also works fine with the Beolink 5000/7000?

Regards Christian
