i live in romania. the problem is not the country; try to see the things from a different point of view: what is the main aim of banks? they want us to totaly depend on them! i think is not normal to be forced to have an account to do some things! and... the main problem i think the number of that tings is growing! if i want to have a credit card, and use it to pay different things, to ease my way of life, ok... i can get that, and it can be my choice. BUT, if i want only cash, and not any credit card, or any account, i think the sistem must let me live this way. i was not so dettermined before, but the trend is to use them more and more... and more... until will be used for everyting. i don't like that, and i don't understand it. they were created to help us, but not to totaly depend on them! is is my money, and i like it to stay in my pocket/house, not in a bank! we are forced to be robots! on the other hand, i travelled a lot in europe without a credit card. germany, hungary, austria, bulgaria, denmark, and i cand tell you that is possible to live without the plastic. i did not try to rent a car, because i was with my own, but next time i'll try to see this aspect. maybe i will tell you some storries about the life here, and the way we went from comunism to capitalism, and saw things evolving..... or not ;) i am happy with my life, i never complain, and i am a verry smyley man. so... enough on this, 'cause is OFF-TOPIC. if some of you want to continue, it should be created a new topic somewhere else, and keep this one clean.

Well if the banks get their way we might all be living in a cash free society within a few years.... Not sure how I feel about this myself!

Travelling is nearly imposible without creditcard, try to rent a car paying cash, in the hotels they think you are a criminal on the run if you pay cash.

hello again!

the problem is still there, but i think i know how to fix it, but.... without a schematics is very hard. so... can anyone help me with that? i need a schematic for the entire unit, if anyone has it. plus... some wires were broken and i need to know if i put them back well..

Probably the amlifier no load current and offset trimpots. They go bad and need replacing/resetting, this is what causes the amplifier to run too hot. While you're in there you should replace the electrolytic caps too. Ask Dillen, he can supply a cap kit with instructions and probably the right trimpots too!

The service manual, available to gold and silver members, can help you with the adjustment of the trimpots.

hello again...

It's a long time since my beomaster is workimg again, but now I have another problem with it :(

the freqvency display is not working well; it displays some random numbers, but, the radio is working well... I'll try first to change some capacitors, but ... with some schematics I think I'll go faster :D the second problem is that the radiator is overheating in the left side, or at least I think that, because I did not verify that until now, but... the amplifier is working fine. still... I think it's not normal... Any help is wellcome.
