Page 4-4 is already handling the system stand. I don't think anything is missing - it's just already going to the later route and the "official" service is not supposed to do much on component level, just replace modules... this usually happens when the bulk of the circuit is surface mount, like in the MCP. An adventurous engineer can still repair them, but it may not be cost effective any more at the hourly rates an official service is supposed to charge.

I see there's a test point jumper designated as "display on". It might do the job some people have asked for, namely keep the display on at all times and drain the batteries really fast

Re: Beo 4 Damage Limitation or User Manual?

I have looked at the BM 6500 manual at the download site, but sadly it appears to be missing the final few pages.

There is a breakdown of the parts in an MCP but nothing more.

Brian

Re: Beo 4 Damage Limitation or User Manual?

Xseries:

Do you have one for an MCP 5500 or 6500 by any remote possibility (pardon the pun!) ?

Sorry no

Re: Beo 4 Damage Limitation or User Manual?

Edited due to "*** up"

Re: Beo 4 Damage Limitation or User Manual?

No, I'm not that old

I'm couple of months short, though - I thought starting this thread would've been enough, but now I've sent the email as well.
