It think it will be pretty difficult to find a 220 V transformer, since all the models that you mentioned have become so rare. But i'll take up the challenge.

Re: Is it possible to change Beogram 8002 120 Volt to 220 Volt?

Yes, the transformer is a plug-in module. You need to get a 220-240V transformer module to replace the 110-120V one you have.

The transformer pushes up from under the Beogram when the aluminum lid is open and the mains lead is gently guided out from the corner of the aluminum lid hinge.

The Beogram 6006, 8000 and 8002 transformers are the same.

Martin

Re: Is it possible to change Beogram 8002 120 Volt to 220 Volt?

Glad to help with the 7000 but I'm afraid the 8002 is outside of my experience. The fuse was already a 700mV, so did not need changing. Now it works perfectly. Thanks again Graham!

Now another one: Can a U.S. Beogram 8002 (120V) be modified to be a European Beogram 8002 (220V) in the same way? I checked the Beogram 8002 service manual, but it looks a lot more complicated than the Beogram 7000 one. Thanks in advance for your suggestions!!!
