There&amp;#39;s a little belt for the motion sensor but I would recommend you replace the lot. If it is loose, cutted or missing the counter won&amp;#39;t move and the mechanism stops the playback believing that the tape has ended. If I insert a tape it plays for about 2 seconds then stops. The same happens if you try and rewind. If you hold the solenoid in by hand the tape will play with no problems. I suspect that there is a fault in the control circuit to the solenoid but I am not sure of where to look for the problem, Any pointers would be much appreciated.
