The problem is not the motor but merely seized lubricants. You need to take apart the mechanics and clean everything. Add a small amount of fresh silicone grease and it will run fine again.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Remember to mark where the cog wheels grip each other and the tray, they are coded and need to get back in the same positions !&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Martin&lt;/p&gt;&lt;div style="clear:both;"&gt;&lt;/div&gt;</description></item><item><title>Re: Problem. The Cd tray on my Beogram Cd player is either moving very slowly or not opening at all. I sustected the drive belt, but&amp;nbsp;I have dismantled the unit and repaced this and its still the same. I now suspect that the voltage feeding the tray motor is to low,&amp;nbsp;I have measured it to be 4volts, the problem is that I dont have a circuit so&amp;nbsp;I dont know what the correct voltage should be? I have tried driving the motor from a 6volt battery and it works fine like this.
