The problem is not the motor but merely seized lubricants. You need to take apart the mechanics and clean everything. The Cd tray on my Beogram Cd player is either moving very slowly or not opening at all. I sustected the drive belt, but&nbsp;I have dismantled the unit and repaced this and its still the same. I now suspect that the voltage feeding the tray motor is to low,&nbsp;I have measured it to be 4volts, the problem is that I dont have a circuit so&nbsp;I dont know what the correct voltage should be? I have tried driving the motor from a 6volt battery and it works fine like this.
