There is no such thing on the 1202. You push the button to start the mechanism. manual as opposed to the service manual which i have.&amp;nbsp; Also, when the 
dial is in the off position the platter is turning, its onyl when you 
turn it slighty before the 12 o`clock position that it stops - is this 
problem with the contacts or is that part of the design..sorry but i am a
 complete novice when it comes to record decks let alone B &amp;amp; O Gear.
