I basically have the turntable and the 8000 connected via RCA cables. There is a ground cable on the turntable, but I have no clue as to where on the amp it should go, or even if it needs to be grounded at all. All the information I&amp;#39;m finding online says two different things. Some says it needs to be grounded depending on certain factors, while other information says the opposite. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The music quality currently seems fine, but I DO notice that if you touch the tonearm or platter with your finger when the Beomaster 8000 is on and the record player off, you&amp;#39;ll get an effect similar to touching a live mic. Meaning.. there is a slight sound that can be heard as a direct result of my touch. Am I correct to think this doesn&amp;#39;t seem right?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Any help would be appreciated.&lt;/p&gt;
