It appears to use a different datalink system.&lt;/p&gt;

Hence I am wondering, is the start/stop remote control function of the Beogram 4004 downward compatible with the datalink interface of the Beomaster 8000 (or in other words, would the 4004 start playing when pressing Phono/ stop playing when selecting a different source on the 8000)? Did anyone try this? Thanks!&lt;/p&gt;
